Biography
Major Domingo De Los Santos #6071 enlisted into the New Jersey State Police (NJSP) on November 9, 2001, as a member of the 126th NJSP Class. As of November 2022, Major De Los Santos serves as the Executive Officer for the Division of State Police.
Major De Los Santos has proudly served the Division for over 21 years. Five years of his State Police career were spent in the Field Operations Section as a road trooper. Ten years of his service to the Division were spent within the Training Bureau in various capacities; instructor, 153rd NJSP Class Coordinator, Executive Officer, and Commandant. His endeavors led to the inaugural presentation of the Recruit Capstone Training for recruits of the 151st NJSP Class. To this date, this training receives the successful endorsement of enlisted members and State Police recruits. For the last ten years, this training continues to be the perfect ending to the highly accredited NJSP Academy Training Program.
Major De Los Santos also served as Incident Commander for a Division deployment to the Island of Puerto Rico in 2022 to assist with recovery efforts because of Hurricane Fiona. He previously served within the Office of the Deputy Superintendent of Administration and the Office of the Deputy Superintendent. He completed the prestigious Federal Bureau of Investigation National Academy (FBI NA), 273rd Session. Most recently and prior to being named Division Executive Officer, Major De Los Santos served as the Commanding Officer for the Division Staff Section where he oversaw several critical functions for the Division.
Major De Los Santos earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Rowan University and a Master of Arts Degree from Seton Hall University.
Major De Los Santos was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and immigrated to the United States at the age of 15. Major De Los Santos resides in Gloucester County with his wife Lorraine and three sons.
